Two days after its global launch, Louis Vuitton brought its #makeapromise campaign in partnership with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to WeChat, seeking the assistance of the Chinese online community
- Similar to its global initiative, the brand promises to donate US$200 for each Silver Locket Jewelry item it sells, to UNICEF, supporting kids in need.
- The January 14th WeChat post that Louis Vuitton made to promote its goal, also features many Chinese celebrities who have shown their genuine support for the initiative and have called for the public’s attention to it.
Interested users are able to click the link at the end of the post to visit Louis Vuitton’s site featuring the special-edition items and can purchase them online. Purchased products need to be picked up at one of the many Louis Vuitton boutiques across China however.
